OB-GYN (Obstetrician-Gynecologist) Questions Pregnancy

When is decreased fetal movement a concern?

I'm 35 weeks pregnant. About 2 weeks ago, after a day of feeling crappy and sleeping a lot, I notice my baby didn't move as much. When is decreased fetal movement a concern?

Decreased fetal movement is and always a concern much so at that gestational age of 35 weeks. Maternal perception is very important and you should always call your OB even after hours about this or proceed to the nearest hospital for evaluation.
Anytime you are in the 3rd trimester, decreased movement is a concern. Discuss with your doctor fetal kick counts. If you notice this and don’t have a doctor- go to the nearest hospital to get the baby checked out.
