Which antidepressants have the least side effects?

I am a 25 year old female and I have depression. Which antidepressants have the least side effects?

All medications have potential side effects. Among antidepressants, the SSRIs (like Prozac or Zoloft) and Wellbutrin probably have the fewest side effects. But which one is right for you depends on your symptoms, your medical history, and other medications you may be taking.
Side effects are a very personal issue, and choosing an antidepressant is also a very specific issue depending on your symptoms and treatment goals. You won't know your response to a medication until you try it, and it would be foolish to choose a medication based on its presumptive side effect profile.
Regrettably, I don't have a simple answer to that question. Most of the SSRI's (like Prozac) have similar side effects, and you can look them up on Wikipedia. If you are considering taking an antidepressant, I would definitely look up the side effects for whatever medication is suggested. Side effects also can vary to some extent depending on the person. I would also consider other ways that you be helped with depression. In general, a good therapist is more effective than a medication.
