Why are the lymph nodes near my left neck quickly increasing in size?

The lymph nodes near my left neck have increased in size rapidly in the last 3 days. The lymph nodes were small when I found them about 2 months ago. However, they are increasing in size in the last 3 days and I have a fever of 102.8 F. Also, I felt cold after I took Tylenol. Is this a typical symptom for swollen lymph nodes infection? Is there any medical treatment?

Lymph node swelling is typical of an infection and I would expect them to resolve when the infection clears. If the nodes remain swollen or become tender after the infection has cleared I would want medical follow up.
Probably inflammatory or reactive in response to viral or bacterial infection. If sore throat and other symptoms, best to see local medical doctor or ENT
