Why do I have a headache every day?

I am a 32 year old male with a headache almost every day. What could be the cause?

The most likely cause is chronic daily headache a benign condition or a transformed migraine. A neurologist will be able to rule out other conditions, scan, if appropriate, and treat.

There are many different reasons. We would need to know more about the nature of your headaches. Do you have associated nausea or vomiting? Do you have sensitivity to bright lights? Do you have any other medical problems? What time of the day or the headaches occurring? Are there any particular triggers for your headaches? Have you had a scan of your head? In the majority of cases, new onset of daily headaches may in fact be a form of migraine, may be secondary to allergies, may be stress related, or may be due to another cause. I recommend that you see a headache specialist.
