Why does my tooth hurt after I drink cold drinks?

I am a 22 year old female. My tooth hurts after I drink cold drinks. What could be the cause?

Because your teeth are living structures.
It could be a sign of gum problems, could be a cavity, may just be typical cold sensitivity that most adult patients experience. Need to see a dentist to determine the cause and treatment needed.
Every tooth has a general sensation/sensitivity to cold exposure. However, if the pain is to a specific area and is prolonged, then you should see a dentist for evaluation.
