How young is too young for chiropractic care?

My son has really bad back pain because of how he sleeps. We would like to get him a new bed to help, but until then, should we consider getting him to a chiropractor? He's just 10 years old.

I adjust from new born to 100 years old. I can help your son.
Good morning!

Yes, most definitely! At any age, a person or a young child can suffer musculoskeletal problems. This is also an ideal time to check early for scoliosis which can contribute to these types of symptoms. So, usually a Chiropractor is the only one that may help your sons' issues and make a proper assessment with a thorough examination. We find that vertebrae can get caught or stuck causing musculoskeletal pain or restricted motion, and so they need to be released through an adjustment.

Kids of all ages can see a chiropractor. I regularly adjust infants for common issues like torticollis and colic. 10 years old is a great age for chiropractic care. They can have back pain, neck pain, headaches, growing pain issues, athletic injuries, posture problems, and leg or arm pain.

It is never too young to get your children adjusted by a Chiropractor. There are Chiropractors that specialize in pediatric care. My youngest patient was just hours old. I would definitely consider taking him to a Chiropractor. I would ask if the Chiropractor sees children when you call to make an appointment.
