Get to know Dentist Dr. Tram K. Le, who serves patients in San Diego, California.
A top professional in the field of dentistry, Dr. Le takes pride in the comfort and care that she provides to her patients at Tierra Town Dental Center in San Diego, California.
Considering it a privilege to treat patients, she recognizes that there are many choices out there for patients, and she values the opportunity to build relationships with them and entire families. Her mission is to treat patients as if they are family. It is such a compliment when she sees patients who are members of families of which she treats 2 and 3 generations.
Originally from Vietnam, Dr. Le earned her undergraduate degree from San Diego State University. After obtaining a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, she received her General Practice Residency training at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. In pursuit of her next challenge, she was chosen as Chief Resident and received additional training in implant surgery while providing mentorship to first-year dental residents.
Striving to make the dental experience a comfortable one, she likes to perform quadrant dentistry, which allows her to maximize the time her patients spend in the dental chair, and minimize the necessary number of visits to her office. She does her best to educate patients, and set a value to reaching and maintaining optimal oral health, which includes periodontal health, and thus, medical health, as they are directly linked.
Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.
When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Le enjoys traveling the world, polishing up on her photography skills, surfing, and doing yoga.
