Dr. Meshkian is extremely well skilled in all phases of dentistry and possesses the highest qualifications. Known for his caring and passionate nature, he strives to help all patients who walk through the doors of East Atlanta Family Dental have the most positive dental experience possible, which devotes him to be as gentle and thorough as he can.
Under his guidance, the long-term goal of East Atlanta Family Dental is the complete oral health for each patient, but the immediate priority is patients’ comfort. The staff do everything in their power to facilitate a non-threatening and relaxing environment patients want to return to again.
In the early days of his academic career, Dr. Meshkian graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology. That is exactly why he prides himself on making each patient feel comfortable, safe, and less anxious about their entire visit. The University of Georgia instilled in him all the values of hard work and ethical care, thus encouraging him to master the art and practice of dentistry.
With his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, Dr. Meshkian continued to prove his determination and passion with extensive training in cosmetic dentistry and prosthetics. He began pursuing courses in oral surgery and completed his dental implant training at Rocky Mt. Dental Institute in Denver, graduating in 2012.
To date, he remains a member of several professional dental organizations, including the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the International Congress of Oral Implantology (Fellow – FICOI).
Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. Outside of the office, Dr. Meshkian and his wife spend most of their time surrounded by the positive influence of their family and friends. Some of his favorite hobbies include fishing, hiking, mountain biking, and other outdoor activities.
