Well-versed in the field of interventional cardiology, Dr. Saltiel has practiced medicine for almost 40 years. She currently serves as the Medical Director at Peak Health and Wellness, PLLC, practicing functional medicine with an emphasis on hormone health in both men and women as well as preventive cardiology. Dr Saltiel no longer practices interventional cardiology. In addition, Dr. Saltiel’s practice does not take insurance.
Before embarking on her professional journey, she received her Bachelor of Science degree from Brooklyn College in 1979, and earned her medical degree from the New York Medical College in 1983. She then went on to complete her residency in internal medicine at Brooke Army Medical Center and fellowship in cardiovascular diseases at Walter Reed Army Medical Center.. Dr. Saltiel served as the Chief of Cardiology at Eisenhower Army Medical Center and the Army’s Southeast Regional Consultant in cardiovascular diseases.
Subsequently, Dr. Saltiel completed advanced fellowship training in metabolic and nutritional medicine as well as the advanced certification in cardiovascular health and hormone health from the Metabolic Medical Institute. She also holds a Doctor of Law degree (JD) from the University of Missouri at Columbia.
