A caring and compassionate obstetrician-gynecologist who has been in practice since 2009, Dr. King joined Inova Health System in 2020.
In addition to seeing patients at Inova Medical Group OBGYN – Annandale, she is affiliated with Inova Alexandria Hospital and Inova Fairfax Hospital.
In her line of work, Dr. King has a special interest in management of high-risk pregnancy, fibroids, fertility, uterine problems and treatment as well as overall women’s health. She hopes to further cultivate her passion for patient education with a patient-centered approach to women’s healthcare as well as OB-GYN resident education.
A native of Northern Virginia, Dr. King graduated with her Medical Degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine in 2009. Upon completion of her general OB-GYN training at WellSpan York Hospital, she obtained additional high-risk obstetrics training with the perinatal team at Inova Fairfax Hospital. She also completed a Master of Public Health Degree in Clinical Investigations.
Board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, the doctor is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The mission of the ABOG is to define standards, certify obstetricians and gynecologists, and facilitate continuous learning to advance knowledge, practice, and professionalism in women’s health.
Prior to joining Inova, Dr. King worked in private practice in Alexandria, Virginia.
