Dr. Chavez is a compassionate dentist who is dedicated to helping people maintain their health and achieve the confident smiles they deserve. With a genuine focus on building trust and understanding the unique needs of each patient, he goes beyond the technical aspects of dentistry to establish meaningful connections with those under his care.
Before embarking on his professional journey, he received his undergraduate degree from Hope College in Holland, Michigan, and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry.
Over the years, Dr. Chavez has consistently pursued continuing education courses, staying informed about the latest techniques and materials in dentistry. He is an active member of the Wheaton Dental Society, the Chicago Dental Society, the Illinois State Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.
In addition to his clinical role, he served as an instructor in the dental hygiene program at the College of DuPage, sharing his knowledge and experience with future dental professionals. Moreover, his volunteer work at the Chicago Dental Society Foundation Community Clinic reflected a deep sense of social responsibility, as he provided free dental services for the less fortunate and uninsured in Wheaton.

Outside the office, Dr. Chavez is a family man. A native of Wheaton, he resides with his wife Lynne and their two pugs. Blessed with four children and five grandchildren, family brings him immense joy. When he’s not busy with his dental practice or community service, he enjoys quality time with his loved ones, playing golf, and taking leisurely strolls around the neighborhood.
