Holding over five decades of experience, Dr. Oakley earned his medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine in 1970. He completed his internship with the University of Alabama Medical Center in 1971, followed by a residency in internal medicine at Emory University in 1972. In 1974, he completed an additional residency in internal medicine at Grady Memorial Hospital.
