Dr. Ghannam is a patient-focused physician with a particular interest in creating ways for physicians and patients to interact and be cared for without geographical constraints. As the CEO and Co-Founder of TeleHealth Solution, he is constantly seeking innovations in technology that can provide unparalleled care.
The mission of TeleHealth Solution is to be the leading virtual provider of 24/7/365 care to post-acute facilities and rural acute hospitals, giving patients the care they need, while enhancing clinician and patient satisfaction, and clinical and financial outcomes. They address the physical, emotional, and financial challenges in providing around-the-clock care to vulnerable patients in post-acute facilities and rural acute hospitals.
Educated in the United States, Dr. Ghannam obtained his medical degree from St. Matthew’s University School of Medicine, and completed his residency in family medicine at Cabarrus Family Medicine. During his medical training, he also completed a Master of Business Administration degree (MBA) from Davenport University, and a Master of Health Services Administration degree (MHSA) from St. Joseph’s College of Maine.
With an unwavering commitment to his specialty, the doctor is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). The ABFM is a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice in family medicine and its sub-specialties.
In his professional experience, he began his career as part of a private hospitalist group. There, he developed an interest in bridging the gap for local hospitals with physician staffing needs. He and his business partner, Dr. Jason Perlman, founded The Hospitalist Solution, which gave North Carolina hospitals a one-call solution for their short- to medium-term hospitalist staffing needs. While practicing as a hospitalist, he quickly realized there was a disconnect between his vision and the reality of the inpatient experience. As a result, he and his partners founded TeleHealth Solution.
