Well-versed in the field of cardiology, Dr. Wattoo founded Heart Center of Nevada in 1978. His goal is to preserve good health and he does this by treating each patient as an individual and continually improving the technical delivery of care in this increasingly complex field.
Heart Center of Nevada has been providing the highest quality of comprehensive cardiology service for 40 years. They offer a wide range of diagnostic, invasive, and non-invasive services for any heart condition including heart catheterization, cardiac stents, pacemakers, defibrillators, and ablations.
A native of Pakistan, Dr. Wattoo graduated from the Nishtar Medical College in 1968. After relocating to the United States, he completed his residency in internal medicine at the Catholic Medical Center, and his fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the Cleveland Clinic.
Following his training, the doctor attained board certification in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
Recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC), he is an active member of the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association.
