Dr. Neigel completed her undergraduate degree from Douglass College, Rutgers University where she graduated with honors in biology. Furthering her education she then graduated with her Medical Degree from the UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School in 1981, giving her over three decades of experience in her field. After obtaining her Medical Degree she completed her ophthalmology specialty residency with the UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School. Wanting to further her training she then completed her orbital and plastic surgery fellowship at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada.
Dr. Neigel is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. To stay up to date in her field, she remains a professional member of the American College of Surgeons, American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, American Medical Association, Medical Society of New Jersey, Society of Ophthalmic Inventors, International Society of Cosmetic Laser Surgeons, American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, and the World Society of AntiAging Medicine.
