An excellent gynecologic-oncologist, Dr. Azizi is the Director of the Gynecological Oncology Division at Presence Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. He is also a robotic surgery specialist, performing advanced, minimally invasive Da Vinci robotic surgery.

Educated in Iran, Dr. Azizi graduated with his medical degree from the Tabriz University of Medical Sciences Faculty of Medicine. He then relocated to the United States where he performed his residency at Mount Sinai Hospital and his fellowship at the Pritzker School of Medicine, The University of Chicago.
From January of 1982 until January of 2010, he served as an Associate Professor of Clinical Obstetrics & Gynecology at Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine.
Holding fellowship status, Dr. Azizi is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG), a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), and a Fellow of the Society of Gynecologic Oncology.
With dual certification, the doctor is board-certified in gynecologic oncology & obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ABOG). The ABOG is a non-profit organization that provides board certification for practicing obstetricians and gynecologists in the United States and Canada.
