Among the doctor’s most notable achievements, he is board-certified in both internal medicine and pulmonary medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world. 

A Fellow of the American College of Physicians and a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians, he remains a member of several professional societies and organizations, including the American Thoracic Society, the New York Trudeau Society, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, the Medical Society of the State of New York, and the American Medical Association.
