Get to know Urologist, Dr. Shahrad Aynehchi, who serves patients in Inglewood, California. 

Board certified urologist, Dr. Aynehchi is serving Inglewood, California and the surrounding communities. He is affiliated with West Coast Urology – a practice with the goal of providing excellent primary urological care and leadership to their region in a cost-effective manner with compassion and integrity. The values of excellence, service and respect for the dignity of the individual is the foundation in the daily operation of West Coast Urology. 

In regards to his education, Dr. Aynehchi earned his Medical Degree (MD) from New York Medical College. He went on to complete training in general surgery and urology at St. Vincent’s Hospital and Westchester Medical Center. 

Dr. Aynehchi is board certified by the American Board of Urology (ABU). The ABU strives to benefit the public by establishing and maintaining standards of certification for urologists, working with certified urologists to achieve lifelong learning to ensure the delivery of high quality, safe and ethical urological care. 

Urology is the branch of medicine that focuses on surgical and medical diseases of the male and female urinary-tract system and the male reproductive organs. As a urologist, Dr. Aynehchi specializes in diseases of the urinary tract and the male reproductive system. This includes areas of the bladder, urethra, kidneys, penis and prostate. Urology is a surgical specialty and requires knowledge in other areas of expertise such as gynecology and internal medicine due to the variety of clinical problems that are involved. 

With over 15 years of experience in the field, Dr. Aynehchi has treated hundreds of patients. He has been recognized and awarded with the “Leonard Paul Weshub, MD Memorial Award” from New York Medical College.
