Fibromyalgia

I am a 54 year old mom who was diagnosed in 1990 with first fibrositis, which was what they called fibrmyalgia back then. It was changed to fibromyalgia a couple of years later. I began having symptoms in college in 1984. I started having the extreme pain in 1988 just before I got pregnant with my first child. I have now had fibromyalgia for 30 years, which is over half my life. I no longer remember life without it. As I get older, it seems to get worse because I am now getting age related things like OA and sciatica. But I still carry on.
