Fibromyalgia

Hi l am 63 and l was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in 1993. It started with my knees, when l got down on my knees to hover my car out, l noticed my knees were hurting me. Then after that l went shopping and when l bent down to get my shopping out of the trolley to pay for them, my ribs touched the side of the trolley and they were hurting me. l thought it had something to do with my op which l had in 1993, so l put no notice of it but it got worse so l when to my doctor. He give me some medication but that did not help so l when back, he took a blood test and my results came back and he said l have polymyalgia and fibromyalgia. So he sent me to hospital and they told me that l don't have polymyagia but l have fibromyalgia which started in my 40's. l started feeling unwell and l could not walk far so l had to use a walking stick after taking my medication. l was feeling a bit better l was working at the time then l had breathing problems and they told me l have asthma. Then came acid reflux symptoms. l was a driver for children with special needs, l been doing this job for 8 years and then l had a change, l went on escorting instead of driving it's the same job but you are with the children. This was another job l was with them for 4 years but in 2014, everything stared to get worse where l could not get on the mini bus so l had to give my job up. l had to give driving up because of my brain and l lose concentration, so l stopped driving, l don't go out much now because l lose my balance so l have to have someone with me all the time. l use a mobile scooter on long distances like when l was on a holiday and on short distance, l use a wheel chair. At the moment l don't feel like going out, l can not make a conversion because l lose my concentration and l tend to forget what l am saying so l don't speak to people much now. l use to phone my mum every day but sadly she died in 2017, and my dad died in 2005. l am ok because l have my own family to talk to when they are here lol, but nevermind life goes on sending me hugs to those who are suffering like me.

Going out. It would be great to walk around the shops and to drive my car.
