Per patient preference but yes it can be done under local.

Both are really good studies however the ultrasound is less invasive and does not involve contrast.

Raynaud's disease typically does not require surgical intervention as it is a disease of the small arterial vessels that abnormally respond to certain triggers by vasoconstricting (which essentially means clamping down releasing minimal to no blood flow temporarily). Medications that inhibit this response is usually the mainstay of therapy and avoidance of triggers. Patient also sometimes where gloves as well. Smoking can worsen this.
