How to relieve vascular problems in both legs?

I have vascular problems in both legs resulting in swelling of both legs, and itching. Would surgical ablation be recommended for this condition?

Yes but only if you have a special ultrasound showing flow reversal in the veins (reflux) which means the veins are not carrying blood back up properly. If so you could be a candidate for minimally invasive ablation procedures.
You may be describing symptoms consistent with venous insufficiency. An evaluation in the office would be an excellent next step. Call for an appointment!

Further assessment is needed in a form of exam by vascular specialist and reflux venous study. Ablation might help decrease the swelling but might not cure the problem.
I am just seeing this. You will need an evaluation for that.
Before finding out if ablation is the correct treatment for you, you need to obtain a venous ultrasound. Leg swelling can be not only from venous problems, it can also be related to lymphatic disorders, heart failure or kidney problems
Hello, thank you for reaching out to me. Swelling and itching certainly can be symptoms of venous insufficiency and varicose veins, and duplex ultrasound can definitively diagnose it. If that is truly your diagnosis, then yes, ablation is a treatment option. I recommend a consultation with a vascular surgeon for this matter. Thank you.
You would need to have an ultrasound of the legs and a physical exam to determine this.
You would need to have a sonogram to assess the legs for reflux in the deep and superficial systems.

Thank you for your question. This depends upon the cause of the swelling of both of your legs. Malfunctioning veins may be a cause of swelling, where surgical ablation might be helpful. There are many conditions that affect the entire body, however, that can also cause leg swelling, that would not be helped by surgical ablation. My recommendation to you would be to consult with a Vascular Surgeon and have them perform a thorough history and physical as well as a venous duplex ultrasound. This should help to guide your therapy. Good luck!
Hello. It depends on whether you actually have venous insufficiency or venous hypertension. You need an ultrasound (venous reflux duplex) to look at your saphenous and deep veins. If the valves in your saphenous veins are dysfunctional, you may be a candidate for an ablation.
Check your veins in the leg. Also see a vascular focyid.
I recommend you to see a vascular specialist . You have options ranging from compression therapy to surgical ablation
