I wanted to mention in this time of fear and anxiety with viral quarantines and such, my experience using an herb to treat acute viral infections. I have used this herb for all of the following:

  • 30-something female with sickness after handling wild bird - cleared up after taking this a week
  • 82 female with shingles symptoms for 3 months - cleared up a few days after administration of this herb
  • Several patients and relatives with acute cold/influenza infections - symptoms clear up in 24-48 hours
  • 1 COVID-19 confirmed 40 something woman with two adopted children - symptoms cleared up in 24 hours

The name of this herb is Lomatium disectum. I used an alcohol tincture of this herb that I source from Barlow Herbal (www.barlowherbal.com) called LDM-100. The dosage I use for adults is 1 dropper full 3 times daily until symptoms subside or a rash occurs. If the rash occurs, reduce dosage to 15 drops, 3x daily until the rash subsides.

As with taking any foreign substance into the body, first, take a drop of it and wait several hours to ensure you don't have an allergy. If your throat starts swelling shut or any other weird symptoms occur (besides the rash that takes several days to develop when taking the medication as I mentioned), take a Benadryl and go to the hospital immediately (where they will give you Benadryl).

Please consider reporting back your anecdotal experiences with patients using this herb. For practitioners of Chinese medicine, this herb also treats retained viral pathogens and the rash is the body kicking the virus out of the body. I normally use the herb more for this as my school training on retained pathogens was lacking, at best, and this herb seems to do all of it in one herb.
