It is the parotid salivary gland and the duct is obstructed you need to see an ENT to check and treat!!!

Usually yes but need to see to r/o other issues
Why do I have itching in my ears every morning?
Most likely chronic external otitis--treat with Mycolog ointment after physician consult.

Can swimmer's ears cause deafness?
No other than swelling of the canal that obstructs the sound from getting to the middle and inner ear
How do ear tubes work in treating ear pain?
Adults and children are okay for tubes if needed. Pain relief comes by relieving negative pressure or pressure from the infection.

Vertigo is an inner ear problem that comes from many things. Most commonly we see it as a result of sudden position change and that is called paroxysmal positional vertigo, which is effectively treated after diagnosis. The culprit is a misplaced otolith (small particle out of position in the semicircular canal).
