Dr. Frank D. Yelian, MD, PhD, is a highly experienced reproductive endocrinologist and the Founder and Medical Director of The Life IVF Center in Irvine and Arcadia, California. With a focus on infertility treatment, especially for patients with endometriosis and diminished ovarian reserve, Dr. Yelian's center attracts patients globally. He performed Michigan's first intra-cytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) case in 1993 and was previously an Assistant Professor at Wayne State University's Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.
After training at Zhejiang University School of Medicine in China, Dr. Yelian pursued his medical degree and residency in obstetrics and gynecology. He later obtained a PhD in Reproductive Endocrinology at Michigan State University, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship in IVF at Wayne State University. He completed his residency training at Michigan State University and an REI Fellowship at Wayne State University. He is certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Yelian is also the Chairman of the Chinese Special Interest Group at the American Society for Reproductive Medicine.
