Dr. Bindi Naik-Mathuria, MD

Dr. Bindi Naik-Mathuria practices Pediatric Surgery in Galveston and Houston, Texas. Dr. Naik-Mathuria treats babies and children of all ages who have an illness, injury, or disease that requires surgery of the abdomen or chest. This includes surgical repair of birth defects, surgical care of pediatric tumors (cancers), breast or ovarian problems, lung or chest wall problems, and injuries related to trauma. Dr. Naik-Mathuria is an expert at minimally invasive (laparoscopic) surgery, which is the approach that she chooses for the majority of her operations. Additionally, she has extensive experience in complex pediatric cancer operations and trauma. She dedicates her life to caring for the most vulnerable children and families, including travelling to Africa several times a year to provide free surgical care for babies and children there.
