For asymptomatic patients, once a year after age 40. Otherwise, your cardiologist will advise.
How long does it take to recover from a pacemaker surgery?
It should not take more than a couple of days to recover. It is important to remain on monitor for at least 24 hours to be sure that lead doesn’t dislodge
