Scars take time to “mature.” Then, they will become pale and barely noticeable, if they are flat and linear. The type of closure is very important, too. Some will require to be excised and closed in a different manner. Microdermabrassion, laser, and other techniques may help. First and foremost, the scars need to be evaluated by a facial cosmetic surgeon.
