Dr. Joy is a physical therapist specializing in treating the neurologic and older adult populations.  She is passionate about helping clients return to their community and recreational activities through a fitness forward, holistic wellness approach.  Dr. Joy's goals are to empower clients to thrive, play, grow, and have FUN with movement in order to live a healthy, happy, fulfilling life.
 
Joy graduated with her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Northern Illinois University in 2016.  She is a Credentialed Balance and Falls Professional and Certified Exercise Expert for the Aging Adult  (CEEAA) through the Academy of Geriatric Physical Therapy of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), a Master Trainer for Urban Poling, and also holds certifications specific to treating Parkinson's Disease - PWR! Moves, Rock Steady Boxing (RSB), and LSVT BIG.  Joy is experienced in treating complex conditions, such as; Parkinson's Disease (PD), Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), stroke, Spinal Cord Injury (SCI), amputees, balance, and vestibular
