Richard King, Jr.

Richard King Jr., MD, FAAPMR, CWS, UHM, is a board-certified physiatrist and undersea and hyperbaric medicine physician who sees patients at HyOx Medical Treatment Center in Marietta and Lawrenceville, GA. He is the Medical Director of the center in charge of evaluating patients for hyperbaric oxygen therapy, directing patient care, and supervising staff. With 40 years of experience in the hyperbaric medicine arena, Dr. King has accrued unrivaled expertise in the rehabilitation of wounds, strokes, amputations, and head and spinal cord injuries. Dr. King is a Fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and a Certified Wound Specialist through the American Board of Wound Management. Previously, Dr. King was a medical director at Cobb General Hospital and at the Rehabilitation Institute of Sarasota in Sarasota, Florida.
