If over 150go to ER,if less and conscious,take a deep breath and hold as a pressure pump for 30seconds,take your pills,and go to ER. If tachycardia on and off and pt.stable most go to md. Appointment asap. Frequently used meds are diltiazem,metoprolol, carotid sinus manipulation,valsalva maneuver.
