Is this a miscarriage?
Actually likely to have been a “chemical pregnancy “ I hate using the term “miscarriage “ for that. Has an EXCELLENT prognostic sign for the future though.

No problem at all. The week off ("dummy pills") and the "fake" period were inventions of patronizing docs who thought that by bleeding each month you would be more likely to "accept" the method as normal. When people have certain medical situations (like endometriosis ) we give pills 365 days a year. Take the WHOLE new pack and then you can take a week off (or not) Often if people have an event (wedding, vacation) this kind of "time switching" is done routinely.
