Take advantage of resources around you

To help you get your footing in the employment community, it may be wise to enlist the support of your area American Job Center, referred to as ‘Work Source’ in some communities. These government-sponsored centers “offer training, referrals, career counseling, job listings, and similar employment-related services. Customers can visit a center in person or connect to the center's information online or through kiosk remote access.” (United States Department of Labor/DOL)

As such, a person with Crohn’s will likely be eligible for additional services through the Employment and Training Administration (ETA). These services are generally available at Job/Work Source Centers.
