The Reality Behind Sleep Paralysis

Different types of sleep paralysis

Sleep paralysis is a sleep condition that has been reported as being experienced by almost eight percent of the general population.  The condition is described as the feeling of being conscious while not having the ability to move one’s body.  Sleep paralysis has been categorized into two different types: predormital sleep paralysis or postdormital sleep paralysis.  This feeling basically occurs in between the stages of being asleep and waking up, and it can be felt for seconds or even minutes.
