The Use of Regenerative Medicine on Muscular Dystrophy Patients
How does this affect vascular growth?
Living cells cannot grow and multiply without proper growth of blood vessels. There have been many studies to identify the compounds that can stimulate vascular growth before cell growth can even happen. In one of the experiments, Deoxyribose-1-phosphate (dRP) have been identified as having proangiogenic activity. In experimental conditions dRP helped to boost the vascular growth, and it is entirely possible that this compound can play a vital role in tissue regeneration, wound healing, revascularization of non-healing ulcers and many other conditions (5).
