The Impact on Mental Health from Living with Lymphoma
Focus on physical health
While this article focuses more on the mental side of things, mental and physical health are often very intertwined. Sleep problems, for example, often make symptoms of depression much worse. Aim for at least 8 hours of sleep a night, and be sure to practice good sleeping habits (not using electronics an hour before you go to sleep, for example). Try and keep a diet full of vegetables and fruits, as they often boost your mood. Drinking plenty of water can help you feel better physically as well. These small changes to your normal routine can make a huge difference in your mood.
