Swim Lessons: The Nick Irons Story is a 2012 award-winning documentary that follows the journey of Nick Irons, who swims and bicycles thousands of miles in order to raise money for MS research. In 1997, Nick swam down the entire Mississippi River over the course of 4 months and in 2000, he rode his bicycle around the United States for 10,000 miles. His father, John Irons, has MS and in the autobiographic documentary, which includes interviews, family pictures and videos, as well as news footage; Nick strives to show how MS in one family member can affect the entire family.
