The West Wing is a hit TV show that aired from 1999-2006. The show’s main character, “Jed” Bartlet - fictional president of the United States, developed relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS). The show looks at the struggles of the U.S. President in his attempt to manage his symptoms and keep his disease from the public. However, MS became a vital storyline when he fails to publicly disclose his disease during his re-election.
