Pancreatic pseudocysts are small fluid-filled sacs that develop within the pancreas. These sacs are called pseudocysts as the wall of the sac is made of a different kind of cells when compared to the true cysts.
These pseudocysts are formed when the pancreas is injured and the ducts are blocked.
Pancreas is a small organ located behind the stomach and produces enzymes that help in the digestion of food and hormones to regulate the blood sugar levels.
