Signs that Show When Children Have Sleep Apnea
Failure to rest properly
As was mentioned, sleep apnea complicates breathing during sleep and prevents the person from resting properly. In children, the brief episodes of wakefulness due to sleep apnea are usually accompanied by shuffling and rolling around the bed, as the person tries to catch sleep once again. Parents might find evidence of this act if they find the sheets of the bed rolled up into a ball, or thrown on the floor, suggesting the child had been moving around a lot during his or her sleep.
