Signs that Show When Children Have Sleep Apnea
Sweating
Though usually a symptom of the flu, or other types of viral conditions which may cause the chills, sweating may also be a sign of sleep apnea. If during the morning the parent discovers that their sheets and pajamas have been soaked through with sweat, it might mean that the child is struggling to breathe at night, making him or her sweat profusely in the process. Evidently, during a time where the person should be sleeping and resting soundly, those with sleep apnea will be struggling to breathe, performing an effort akin to aerobic exercise while they sleep.
