“My baby had a fracture when he was 2 months old. Will it heal?”
My baby had a fracture in his arm when he was 2 months old after falling from the cradle. Will the fracture heal or will it have any implications on my baby as he is growing up?

Usually fractures at that age heal rapidly and uneventfully. He should be evaluated and treated by a pediatric orthopedic specialist
Fractures in young children generally heal fast without complications. He should have no problems in the future as a result of the fracture.

If the alignment is in position or non-displaced, it should heal without complications.
At this age, they usually heal within two weeks without any problem. Must check with your PCP and orthopedic surgeon.
I am so sorry to hear about the injury to your child. Without knowing the specific injury and seeing the imaging films, it would be difficult to make a conclusion. Children are usually able to heal fractures much better than adults. I recommend asking your pediatrician or pediatric orthopedic specialist.
More than likely the fracture has already healed. You should have had a follow X-ray to confirm healing. Some fractures in children may cause extra growth in the bone that was broken, so it is possible to have arms of two slightly different lengths.
Fractures that involve the growth plate of the bone may impact growth by stopping bone growth or causing abnormal bone growth.
You should consult with an orthopedic surgeon with experience in managing fractures in children if you have any additional questions.

Yes. the fracture will heal. It is important that the fracture is set in the correct position; therefore she/he should be seen by a pediatric orthopedist.
It depends on where the fracture is. Was it reduced? But odds are great that it will heal with proper care.
Yes, it should heal without a problem assuming he doesn't have an underlying medical condition that delays healing.

Fractures in children will usually heal with good results, if it doesn't involve a growth plate.
Babies' bones heal very quickly and also have the capacity to remodel (grow back towards a normal shape). Usually, the fracture in this age group will be incomplete and therefore the alignment will be maintained, so that it should be symptom free within a few weeks. There should be no long-term abnormalities.
