“A growth in the side of the throat?”
I would like to know what causes a growth in the side of the throat?

Would need more history. Where is the lesion located, how long has it been present, any pain/bleeding at site, size, any recent injury, smoker? Alcohol intake? etc. Best to see an ENT for office evaluation.
