“AUB and lesion on my cervix?”
How long can you go without getting anything done if you have an aub? Does it make you lose weight or make you really sick and do you have pain in your stomach and down below?

Hello, Thank you for your question. I would not wait long to get this checked out. AUB can be due to many different things. Some are benign like polyps or fibroids, however it can also be due to abnormal uterine cells and even endometrial cancer. It can most certainly be related to pain in the lower abdomen, however weight loss is not usually associated with just AUB by itself unless something else is going on. I would reach out to someone who specializes in obstetrics and gynecology and see if you need any imaging or further labs. Hope this helps.
