OB-GYN (Obstetrician-Gynecologist) Questions OB-GYN

Abdominal pain?

I have pain in my right side, as well as the center below my belly button. It's dull, comes and goes, but has been around for a couple months. It also feels tight and I can feel two little bumps. I've had an IUD in for 4 years. I have no puking or abnormal bowl movements.

See your gynecologist to make sure there is no infection

sounds like you should schedule an acupuncture appointment with your preferred practitioner
I would suggest to follow up with gastroenterologist.

I would recommend coming in for a consultation, acupuncture is very good for abdominal pain but we need to be sure of the underlying cause.
You should go see a doctor, and then go see a professional, fully trained acupuncturist.
Hello, Is the pain brought on by food? Do you have nausea? Any symptoms of heartburn, acid reflux, bloating, or indigestion?

It maybe is small intestinal hernia or appendicitis , possible.
It seems you have a Crohn's syndrome, part of GI problem; acupuncture and herbs and sometimes massage can help you out, you better try!
Consult OB-GYN. Consult GI. Plan for CT scan of abdomen and pelvis.
That is something you should see your western doctor for.
There are a couple of things I'd do straight off:

1. Make an appointment with your ob/gyn and make sure the IUD is still properly located.

2. Assuming there's nothing wrong with your IUD, your next stop should be either your primary care or a GI specialist. We need to make sure there's nothing serious going on with your small intestine or the descending colon. A hernia would be unusual, but also not out of the question.

If the MD's can't come up with any reason why you're experiencing this pain/discomfort, go to NCCAOM.org and use their 'Find a Practitioner' lookup to get a list of local, board certified providers of Chinese medicine/acupuncture. Look at their websites, call around, make an appointment with whomever is closest or whomever gives you the best vibe.
