You can try acupuncture, it can help your allergy.
It depends on the allergy. Some allergies develop in different stages of our lives or in response to the environment. One of the best ways is to live with it & build a tolerance with tiny exposures at a time. Some we can grow out of and age out of them. With acupuncture I have bene able to help prevent the normal seasonal allergies for my patients.
Try seeing an acupuncturist. Treatments and herbal formulas can help a lot, and there is a technique called NAET that is supposed to get rid of allergies. If that doesn't work, get a hold of an allergist who may suggest allergy shots to stop your allergic reactions.
Acupuncture is helpful for allergies and some herb formulas, too. You may consult any acupuncturist around your area.
acupuncture dietary changes and also herbal medicine
Hello, Are your allergies related to your sinuses? Is your skin affected also? Many things cause allergies. Diet, environmental (air, products, health and beauty products, chemicals you work with, etc). Were you tested for allergies by an allergist? For allergies caused by the air, you may need allergy shots to desensitize yourself. For dietary allergies or even dietary sensitivities, you try removing different common allergy food groups. For example, you can try omitting dairy products for 2 weeks and see how your symptoms are. Dairy, gluten, egg, and other substances can cause allergies or even sensitivity reactions. Consider doing a food sensitivity test. These commonly go on sale in bundles, not covered by insurance unfortunately. If it is something you are interested in doing, I can order a test kit for you and you can do it on your own. We can discuss the results over the phone. My website is www.beachacuNJ.com. You can book a Food Sensitivity Consultation to learn more. I hope this helps you. Kathy Martin, MS.Ac. Beach Acupuncture
I need to know the specific symptoms.
I suggest you make an appointment with an experienced acupuncturist. It usually takes 2-3 treatments a week for 4-8 weeks (depending on severity) to eliminate allergies.
Allergy to what? How severe? How long have you experienced the symptoms? What symptoms do you experience?

If this is something along the lines of seasonal allergies, acupuncture and Chinese medicine can often help. In time, seasonal allergy can often be reduced to the point that it's not a major life event. I used acupuncture and herbal medicine to manage my seasonal allergy and it took 2 years to get them to the point that I don't notice the season change.

If this is a food allergy, acupuncture can still help. For a time you will need to avoid the food item or items that are causing the issue.

If this is some other allergic type reaction, I'd need a lot more information.
