Anal fissure pain?

I have a fissure and an appointment with a doctor in one month. The fissure does not hurt too much but I have aches in my left butt and down the back of my left leg too. Is this normal?

Pain down the leg!!!!
This is not just anal fissure.
Go see a GI doctor.
It can occur with anal fissures or you may have a different condition like sciatica. Have it checked out.
If you have no swelling and no fevers, then it may be a local fissure related spasm. If the pain persists after fissure treatment, then it needs to be worked up by your primary care physician. What you need is an evaluation by your gastroenterologist.
I would not expect an anal fissure to cause pain down the back of the leg. That is more consistent with a lumbar disc problem, sciatica.
