“Antibiotics making IBS worse?”
I finished antibiotics on March 5th while on them it made my IBS worse and my heartburn worse. I took my pepsid complete for the heartburn and it made me go more. Things are calming down with my stomach but when will I start feeling a lot better. In 3 weeks I've lost 2 pounds from this.

Antibiotics may cause diarrhea / c. Diifficile infection. You need to consult your physician.

There's not a lot of detail provided, but it seems that you have a history of IBS with diarrhea. Taking any antibiotics can cause diarrhea on their own, so in that sense it might not be a worsening of IBS, but rather antibiotic-associated diarrhea caused by a change in gut flora. You can try some probiotics and/or add therapy for IBS such as antidiarrheals or antispasmotics.
