Appendix?

I had my appendix removed in 2018. I went to the ER for abdominal pain I knew of one hernia. The CT told me I had two hernias but that’s not the concern the concern is my appendix. I was admitted and added as an add-on and surgery early that am. I had fluids leak out wound I went to ER they say infection on the outside of the stomach. I went to follow-up appointment was told my appendix was normal and I don’t have to come there again. I walk out and ever since I still have the same pain on and off. I can’t eat I’m always nausea I lost a lot of weight. From being 146 to 120 pounds I cry so much I’m very emotional now. Is it ok to be this way after surgery? I have the throw-up feeling all day long it’s getting worse. I’m never hungry if I do get hungry it’s midnight hours. Is it okay to have nausea and weight loss as much as I lost? I was told I had an infection inside my stomach. Was the infection inside my stomach before surgery or after?

Consult GI. Change your diet to an organic green Mediterranean diet, minimal diary products and minimal red meat. The infection probably is a complication of the appendicitis or maybe it manifested some GI pathology that was already there.
Hello,

I am sorry you have had this experience, there are some things you can do to improve this situation. I cannot tell what is going on without seeing you as a patient. Because of the abdominal pain, you should see a gastroenterologist or at least your family doctor. Your local hospital should be able to get you an appointment with either of these people. From what you have said here, this will not resolve on its own. Please seek out someone to help you through this.
