“Are all on four implants removable?”
I am a 54 year old female. I want to know if all on four implants are removable?

If you are referring to the denture being removable, the answer is, it depends. The majority of cases of all on 4, the prosthesis is screw retained. You clean underneath it with pipe cleaners, Superfloss, and a Water Pik. You could have 4 implants placed and the denture retained with locators, which is a removable appliance.
They are removable, but only by the Doctor. If you should break or chip a tooth, the prosthesis can be taken out and sent to the lab for repair. This is a simple fairly quick procedure
Hi,
All on 4 implants are not removable...traditionally. But if a patient wants the ability to remove the denture because they want to keep it clean, that would be an option we offer. It would also be less money.

Generally they are not, although dental professionals can do so with tools to loosen the connector screws.
Generally, an all on four (or more) implant configuration refers to a prosthesis that is not removable by the patient, but is (with some work) removable by the doctor. You can have 4 implants supporting a removable (by the patient) denture. But that is never referred to as an "all on four" prosthesis.
I hope this helps.

They are fixed but once every year or every six months your doctor would remove to clean and make sure everything is the way it should be.
